“Argument Over Beer” At Owner's Risk Series ©1973 While drinking beer one lazy day, an argument erupted. Instinctively, I started to snap pictures, and almost lost my camera and the villagers' trust as a result. When I was back in Montreal and printing the pictures, this one particularly stood out. The anthropologist who had sent me to photograph reacted too, saying "This one belongs in LIFE Magazine, a center spread." But I wasn't so sure. |
