I would awake to the sound of bells, from cows being shepherded through the hills. And even when I arrived home, for days that soothing sound continued to echo in my dreams. So I was surprised to find these icons painted on large stones in the parking lot of a local hotel. I assume they were intended to let patrons know what amenities awaited them inside; I, for one, spent a good hour online, in what used to be called "virtual reality." |
