About Susan Ressler     Inquiry

Spying a paper someone had left on a bench, I photographed it: "Italy at Risk" it shouted in bold. A few steps farther, and I saw the Bush/Blair graffiti on the fence: "terror and fear." Behind it rose an Italian villa, ironically named "Paradiso." Its creamy stucco facade was cracked. These images were already paired in time and space. I had only to start the conversation.
