The Yellow Wall was made in the mid 80s in Oakland, California. I was in Oakland for lunch and some business. It was late afternoon when I returned to my car - parked across a 4-lane street from the Yellow Wall. I had cameras in the car and light was really nice so, I thought that I would have a look across the way before heading home. The photograph was made with a Nikon, a 400mm ED IF and Kodachrome. The Yellow Wall is one of my favorite pictures. I actually own a print of this one; Steve made a Dye-Transfer print of the Yellow Wall for me in the late 80s.
