Eckart’s Brushes San Francisco California ©1983 Chuck Eckart, Larry Duke and I would meet for lunch several times a week. Chuck always spent the mornings in his studio painting, during breaks in his Commercial art schedule. Chuck would typically paint until lunchtime and clean his brushes before sitting down to eat. I would always have a look at the progress on his latest painting before lunch. On one of these lunch days the brushes were set to dry, beneath one of the large skylights in the studio. I went back across the street for a camera, sidearm and tripod.Eckart’s Brushes were photographed with a Nikon F3, Micro Nikkor
and Kodachrome 64.
