I was in Milan, Italy to photograph the Lamborghini Diablo for Alpine Radio. Diablo was the name of a ferocious bull raised by the 19th century Duke of Veragua, Diablo fought an epic battle with 'El Chicorro' in Madrid on July 11. 1869. Such a ferocious battle that his name was given to the new Lamborghini.

Low, wide and extremely fast, its top speed was set at 325 Km/h., but on the Nardo test track, Sandro Munari managed to reach 340 Km/h. A V-12 engine, with four valves per cylinder, a displacement of 5.7 liters and a newly developed multi-point fuel injection system and a healthy 492 Bhp comprises the soul of this car.

I was using the center stage of a three stage studio. The other two stages were being used for a lingerie shoot. Gorgeous models as only found in Milan kept wondering out of the lingerie shoot and onto my stage to check out the Diablo. Proof that even in Italy a Italian rossa sports car is a magnet for ladies.
